Bring yor own comfy chair and blanket to enjoy film in the beautiful Nogales night.

Our screening takes place Thursday, Friday, and Saturday on the BORDER WALL

Throughout their shared histories, both horses and the Blackfeet people have been corralled; fenced into pens and reservations, yet centuries of attempted subduction only deepened the bond between them. Borrowed From the Earth traces that enduring connection from the origin story of the horse to the modern-day relay race, exploring how a life-giving relationship, long tested by force, survives as a testament to the power of belonging to one another.

The Color Of Light

Directed by Andrés Hernández Machado

Synopsis

The Color of Light explores the encounter between a young artist, Esteban Fuentes de María, and the legacy of iconic architect Luis Barragán, renowned for his mastery of color and light. Guided by the caretakers of Barragán’s houses, Esteban embarks on a journey from the architect’s final masterpiece, Casa Gilardi, to his first creation: the enigmatic Casa Ortega, where Verónica, its current owner, awaits him. Esteban soon discovers that Barragán’s true art lies not in what is seen, but in how one learns to see. Through this process, the essence of color, light, and space intertwines in a deep dialogue that challenges artistic conventions, leading Esteban to perceive what Barragán saw in his works—beyond the tangible.
